Financial District, Manhattan
Quick entry of some images I've captured over the weekend. I drove up to Kelowna with my weightlifting team to support and document the event. Usually I'm right in there with them throwin' metal around, but this time life held me back. The reason seemed superficial and temporary, but it was frustrating nonetheless.
What really drove me to still make my way out there were the people and the possibilities that came with them. People are amazing, enjoy the photos! ✌️
Hi world, welcome to the blog! Recently I've been thinking a lot about sharing, and what it means to share. It's a theme that moves me, never leaves my mind, and shines light on the darkness of the unknown of our future. I've been trying to understand why it means so much to me, and in my efforts to dissect it I've realized that I need to immerse myself deeper into said theme to really comprehend it.
In other words, that was a complicated way of me trying to say that I'm holding myself more accountable to be a real practitioner of sharing. And in doing so, I've decided to start this visual journal. I'll be uploading collections of visuals here every so often to give you guys a deeper look into my disorganized mind.
Below are thirty photographs and a video taken in a twenty-four hour window in Hong Kong. There's a lot to say about this city, but I'll wait to explain it until i expand upon my measly twenty-four hour time log. One thing I will say though is that it took a hold of my eyes and never let go. I'm fortunate to have been able to witness this special combination of grit, density & character.
Enjoy ✌️
